Similar to most gift cards, the MasterCard Gift Card allows the recipients to buy the gift of their choice. So the risk of giving an unwanted gift is greatly reduced.

The MasterCard Prepaid Gift Card is accepted by millions of retail locations worldwide. This is not attached to a specific store, retailer or a shopping center. This means that the gift card recipient will have wider selection of items that he or she wants to purchase.

MasterCard Prepaid Gift Cards can be used immediately by the recipients. This card can be used to purchase goods or services in person, and can also be used to shop online.
