Wedding gift cards are slowly becoming a favored gift to the newly weds. Of course, it may not be the priority for some, but it’s has becoming an acceptable gift to many.

When planning to gift a wedding gift card, chances are you will be writing some messages in it. Some gift cards allow you to print your personal message in the gift card itself, while others would only allow you to print the message on a separate greeting card. For some, you would have to purchase a separate card for that.

What’s written in the gift cards are actually words of congratulations and best wishes that you want to convey to the couples. The common words used are the following:

• happiness or joy
• wealth
• love
• prosperity
• fun, laughter, enjoyment
• lifelong journey
• happy life, prosperous life
• best wishes

These words need not be used in the whole message. Note that some gift cards only let limited number of characters, so the message should be concise but very meaningful.

Other suggestions include using some quotes related to marriage, love, congratulations, best wishes and the like. A verse from the bible about the same topic is also a good option. Another idea is to infuse something that the couples truly enjoy and love doing, especially if you are a close friend of the newly wed.

Poems are also lovely messages for wedding gift cards, especially if the couple appreciates literature a lot. A quote from a book or an excerpt from a popular love story may also be used.

Take note that whatever you plan to write on the wedding gift card, the important point is that you are able to express your message to them.
