To do this, you need to enter your gift card number and Access / RA number in the fields on the page. These numbers should be located on the back of the gift card or on the gift card receipt. Once validated, you can view not only your gift card balance but your transaction history as well.

To check your Target gift card balance through phone, you can call 1-800-544-2943 or the number stated at the back of the card. You need to select the check balance option for you to dial the 16-digit code at the back of your gift card. Once you have correctly keyed it in, you should get or gift card balance.
